Buddhism says that our current way of life (called Samsara) is an illusion |
The Buddha said, “Oh, Bhikshu, every moment you are born, decay, and die.” He meant that, every moment, the illusion of "me" renews itself. Not only is nothing carried over from one life to the next; nothing is carried over from one moment to the next.
For the past few months I don't quite understand what has happened to me. I have come to know about the idea that we are all one single consciousness, and have felt frustrated since knowing this world is an illusion. And if you flee, if you escape, will you ever truly be free?
Yes,Life is an illusion. We always think with the help of love, friendship, we can remain happy forever. But in reality it never happens, everything come to an end....and on that day we are again alone, battling the life in our own way with no one to support. Then, why we don't want to accept this fact, I think the prime reason is we want to be happy, happy forever.Life is an illusion, death is the ultimate truth. We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone.Accept it! :)
